Our local leadership provides the direction of the organization and supports the mission with women and girls each and every day in Haiti.

Fara Jean-Baptiste, Program Director

Fara has an extensive background advocating for children’s rights and working in child development. She has a license in Development and a Master’s in Development Policies and Practices. She has worked at the Réseu National de Défense des Droits Humains en Haiti (RNDDH) as a Rights Monitor in the South of Haiti and as the Chief Project Manager for children for Terre des hommes-Lausanne. Most recently, she worked as a consultant for Child Protection and Development with Little Footprints Big Steps.

Sagine Francois, Outreach Coordinator

Sagine has been supporting Write to Be efforts on the ground since the beginning of the Famn Ki Fo Fund which she now promotes within the community and supports women and girls throughout the application process. Prior to Write to Be, Sagine worked at Pwoje Espwa in Southern Haiti where she taught sewing classes to the first cohort of girls in the Fi Ki Fo program.
